350-acre (140-hectare) campus in Lake Wales, Fla. The college, founded in 1968, is affiliated with the Church of God and was named for one of its religious leaders, Daniel Warner. It operates on a semester calendar and awards degrees at the associate and bachelor's levels. Disciplines offered include business, education, communication, liberal arts and sciences, theology and other religious studies, and music. Approximately 60 percent of the full-time faculty hold doctorates. The college also employs a large number of part-time instructors.

Warner Southern enrolls more than 500 students, about a fourth of whom come from outside the state. Approximately half of the students are over the age of 25. Traditional-age students must live in campus housing through their junior year. Extracurricular activities include drama club, choir, a fellowship of Christian athletes, a campus radio station, a student-run newspaper, and intramural sports. Varsity sports teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
