noncompetitive institution located on more than 5 acres (2 hectares) in Minneapolis, Minn. The college was founded in 1930 and is affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Enrollment is more than 1,000 students, with relatively equal numbers of men and women. The college attracts students from across the United States. About a quarter of the students are over the age of 25, and many attend part-time. Students under the age of 23 are required to live on campus during all years of study.

The college awards associate and bachelor's degrees and conducts classes on the semester system. Among the subjects offered are biblical and religious studies, Greek, Hebrew, business, communications, liberal arts, behavioral sciences, ministries, music, elementary education, and deaf interpreter training. Study abroad programs are available in Portugal, Kenya, and Belgium. Extracurricular activities include intercollegiate and intramural athletics, a drama group, chorus, the student-run newspaper, and the campus radio station.
