50-acre (20-hectare) campus in North Chicago, Ill. The Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School attracts students from across the United States, and enrollment consists of more than 100 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students. Women greatly outnumber men at the undergraduate level, and more than half of the undergraduates are over the age of 25. All enter with previous college experience. The campus does not have student housing.

Classes are conducted on the quarter system. The university awards bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and professional degrees. Undergraduate offerings include nursing, cytotechnology (a medical specialty in the identification of cells and cellular abnormalities), medical technology, physical therapy, and physician's assistant studies. Graduate degrees can be earned in many of these same disciplines, as well as in clinical dietetics, health-care risk management, medicine, and psychology.
